VIRTUAL CRICKET LEAGUE 2026 OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS AND INFO
1. Format & Tournament
- Experience the intensity of our Round Robin format featuring 14 premier teams. The top 4 contenders will advance to the Knockout Stage. Qualification is governed by Net Run Rate (NRR) efficiency. Each fixture consists of 4 overs per side, conducted in an 8v8 competitive standard.
2. Roster Requirements
- Squads must maintain a minimum of 8 players with a maximum cap of 11. All lineups must be submitted and frozen by the end of Round 1. Organizations are granted branding naming rights but must provide a unique logo. For eligibility, players must adopt the team logo as their active profile picture.
3. TECHNICAL BYLAWS
- Power Play (ANY 1 OVER): Run options restricted to 4, 5, 6. Review Availability: DRS can only be utilized within the Power Play period. Request Procedure: Captains must signal a "REVIEW" in the main hub immediately following an OUT call. Resolution: A coin toss determines the outcome; success overturns the dismissal, failure upholds it.
Remaining Overs : Available run values are 3, 4, 5, 6.Wide Penalties: A 3/6 input results in a 6/3 wide award. No Ball Rule: A single No Ball on index 5 is allowed per over. Dismissal Policy: Batters dismissed on a No Ball are still considered out, though the delivery is penalized. Strike Rules: Rotations occur on balls 3 and 5.
4. CODE OF CONDUCT
Operational Attendance:
• Teams must synchronize and verify with management by 21:15 IST.
• Tardiness beyond the deadline results in an automatic forfeiture/walkover.
Schedule Adjustments:
• Postponement requests necessitate a 48-hour prior notification.
• Emergency or same-day reschedule appeals will be dismissed.
• Defaulting teams grant 2 league points to their opponents.
Identity Integrity:
• New participant IDs require manual verification by officials.
• Account sharing or multiple IDs are strictly forbidden.
• Infractions lead to permanent disqualification and point penalties.
Data Integrity:
• Illegal modification or deletion of scoring inputs results in immediate multi-game suspension.
• Offending teams must complete the remainder of the fixture with 7 players.
Communication Violations:
• Whisper usage: Initial warning + 3 run penalty. Secondary: 6 run deduction. Tertiary: Batter dismissal.
• Bowler guessing: Warning first. Secondary: 6 runs to opponent. Tertiary: 2-match ban.
• General chat: Warning first. Secondary: Permanent server expulsion.
Professionalism:
• Hostility, profanity, or internal disputes are strictly prohibited.
• Post-match audio communication is exclusive to team captains.
• Disrespect toward administration triggers immediate disciplinary review.
Regulatory Authority:
• The governing body reserves the right to amend these statutes at any time.
• All administrative rulings are final and binding.

• All 14 teams are expected to uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship.
